Sunny Beach is purpose-built for tourism, with a long, flat beachfront promenade and wide paved paths through the resort that are easy with a stroller. Most hotels and aquaparks are step-free and used to prams and buggies. The resort is fairly spread out, so a stroller for longer walks between hotel zones is genuinely useful.

The resort is full of family-oriented, all-inclusive hotels with buffet dining that suits fussy eaters, along with countless casual restaurants offering pizza, pasta, and grilled food aimed squarely at tourist families. High chairs and kids' menus are the norm rather than the exception here. Supermarkets in the resort center stock familiar formula and snack brands.

Sunny Beach is generally safe for families, though its reputation as a lively nightlife spot for young adults means some areas get rowdy after dark, easy to avoid by sticking to the family-oriented hotel zones. The beach shelves gently and suits paddling well, though it gets crowded in peak July and August. Tap water is technically safe, but bottled water is the more common local choice.

🏥Hospitals

The resort has small medical clinics geared toward tourists, with the nearest proper hospital in Burgas, about 30 minutes away. Pharmacies within the resort are plentiful and well stocked for holiday basics like fever medicine and sun protection. Given it's a seasonal resort town, travel insurance covering medical treatment is strongly recommended.
