Downtown Jackson's boardwalks are flat and manageable, but Grand Teton and Yellowstone trails are mostly unpaved and not stroller-friendly, so a hiking carrier is essential for wildlife viewing and trail walks. St. John's Health in Jackson has a 24-hour ER, though it's a small rural hospital, so anything serious may mean transfer to Idaho Falls or Salt Lake City. Pharmacies in town are limited, so pack extra of anything specific your child needs.
