Historic Main Street is walkable but steep and can be snowy or icy in winter, so a carrier is more practical than a stroller during ski season; in summer the paved Rail Trail is flat and stroller-friendly. The resort villages at Deer Valley and Park City Mountain have accessible walkways.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Main Street restaurants like Bandits Grill and Wasatch Brew Pub are used to ski families and offer high chairs and kids' menus. Most resort base areas also have casual cafes for a quick toddler-friendly lunch between runs.
π‘οΈSafety
A very safe, affluent mountain town with little crime. The real hazards are altitude (around 7,000 feet) and winter road conditions, so allow a day to acclimatize and drive carefully on snowy passes from Salt Lake City.
π₯Hospitals
Park City Hospital has a 24-hour ER for everyday needs, with Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City (about 35 minutes away) for more serious pediatric care. Ski resort clinics can also handle minor injuries on the mountain.
