Hammamet's resort zone has wide, paved beachfront paths and flat streets that work well with a stroller, and most large hotels have step-free access throughout. The old medina has some narrower cobbled lanes but is compact enough to cover on foot with a carrier.

🍽️Food & Eating

This is one of Tunisia's most established resort towns, and hotel buffets and beachfront restaurants are very well set up for fussy young eaters, with pizza and pasta always available alongside Tunisian classics. Carthageland amusement park nearby also has family-friendly dining.

🛡️Safety

Hammamet is calm, well-patrolled, and one of the most reliably relaxed towns in Tunisia for a family beach holiday. Standard sun and water safety precautions are the main things to plan around given the long sandy beaches.

🏥Hospitals

Private clinics in Hammamet and nearby Nabeul handle routine tourist medical needs, with some English or French-speaking staff. For anything serious, Tunis is under an hour away by road.
