The big all-inclusive resorts around Naama Bay and Nabq Bay are built on flat, landscaped grounds specifically for package tourists, genuinely easy with a stroller. The Old Market area (Sharm el-Maya) is more uneven and better suited to a carrier.

🍽️Food & Eating

Sharm's entire economy runs on family resort tourism, so buffet dining with high chairs and kids' options is the norm rather than the exception. Bring a favorite snack or two from home, but supermarkets in the hotel zone stock basic international baby food as backup.

🛡️Safety

Visitors flying direct into Sharm el-Sheikh for a Sinai-only stay can use the free, simplified entry permit without needing the full Egyptian tourist visa. The resort zone itself is calm and heavily geared toward tourism; the main practical risk is sun and dehydration given the desert heat even outside peak summer.

🏥Hospitals

International Hospital Sharm El Sheikh and several private clinics in the hotel strip are set up specifically for tourists, including pediatric care and English-speaking staff. Most resorts also have an on-call doctor for minor issues, handy for reassurance with a toddler.
