Agadir was rebuilt after a 1960s earthquake with wide, modern boulevards and a long paved beachfront promenade, making it genuinely stroller-friendly, unlike most Moroccan cities. Resort grounds along the beach are flat and easy.

🍽️Food & Eating

Beachfront restaurants and resort buffets are set up for European package tourists, with pizza, pasta, and kids' menus widely available alongside grilled fish and tagines. Supermarkets carry familiar baby food and formula brands, useful for topping up.

🛡️Safety

Agadir is one of Morocco's more relaxed, tourism-oriented cities and feels comfortable for family walks along the beach and promenade. Standard precautions apply around the souk and taxis, but violent crime against tourists is rare.

🏥Hospitals

Clinique Yasmine and other private clinics in Agadir have some English-speaking staff and handle routine tourist medical needs well. For anything serious, families are usually referred to Casablanca or Marrakech.
