The Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls has a single well-paved, mostly flat boardwalk trail with a lift, genuinely stroller friendly and manageable in under two hours. The Argentine side involves more walking and a small train, so budget extra time if you cross the border. Away from the falls, the town itself is spread out and best navigated by car or taxi rather than on foot.

🍽️Food & Eating

Family-style rodizio (all-you-can-eat) restaurants are common and let toddlers pick from a wide spread of grilled meats, rice, and simple sides. Restaurants near the falls entrance and in the town center are used to tourist families and generally offer high chairs. Pack extra snacks and water for the falls visit itself, since food options inside the park are limited to a couple of cafeterias.

🛡️Safety

Foz do Iguacu's tourist zone around the falls and main hotel strip is safe and well patrolled, though like many Brazilian border towns it's worth avoiding wandering into unfamiliar residential areas at night. Keep a close hold on toddlers near the falls viewpoints, where railings are present but drops are steep. Coatis (raccoon-like animals) roam the park and will approach for food, so keep snacks out of reach.

🏥Hospitals

Hospital Ministro Costa Cavalcanti is the main regional hospital with emergency and pediatric services, though English fluency among staff varies. Most hotels near the falls can arrange a doctor visit for minor issues. Bring a basic first aid kit, as pharmacies in the town center close earlier than in bigger cities.
