Panglao Island's Alona Beach strip and resort grounds are flat and manageable with a stroller, but the Chocolate Hills viewpoint and the tarsier sanctuary involve steps and forest paths better suited to a carrier. A rented car with a car seat is the easiest way to combine the hills, river, and beach in one trip.

Resort restaurants around Panglao have kids' menus and high chairs, and the Loboc River cruise includes a mild buffet lunch that's easy on toddler palates. Small supermarkets in Tagbilaran and Panglao stock formula and familiar snacks.

Bohol is calm and family-friendly, with the tarsier sanctuary and Chocolate Hills both low-key, low-risk attractions for kids. Sun exposure is the main hazard on hill viewpoints and river cruises, so pack hats and reef-safe sunscreen.

🏥Hospitals

Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Tagbilaran covers routine needs, and Panglao has smaller clinics for minor issues. For anything more serious, Cebu's Chong Hua Hospital is about 1 to 2 hours away by fast ferry.
