Bodrum's whitewashed old town near the castle has narrow, sloped, cobbled streets that are tough with a stroller, but the marina and the main waterfront promenade are flat and easy. Family resorts around Torba, Gumbet and Turgutreis are purpose-built with pools, kids' clubs and stroller-friendly grounds. Ferries and boat trips are a big part of the appeal here, and most operators are used to accommodating small children.

Bodrum's dining scene is upscale by Turkish standards, with marina restaurants offering international menus alongside Turkish classics, and high chairs are commonly available at family-oriented spots. Fresh seafood, flatbreads and mezze are easy, mild options for toddlers. Resort buffets are the simplest route for consistently kid-friendly food.

🛡️Safety

Bodrum is safe and well set up for family tourism, though the old town's nightlife area gets lively at night and is easy to avoid with young children. Avoid drinking tap water, bottled water is cheap and standard. Summer heat is intense, so late spring or early autumn travel is considerably more comfortable.

Bodrum State Hospital and private options like Bodrum American Hospital provide pediatric care, with better English at the private facilities. Pharmacies (eczane) are common around the marina and resort areas.
