The main resort strips around Laganas, Tsilivi, and Argassi are flat and stroller-friendly, with paved promenades along the beachfront. The famous Navagio (Shipwreck) Beach is only reachable by boat followed by a steep, unpaved cliff path, so it isn't a realistic outing with a stroller or a very young toddler.

🍽️Food & Eating

Family tavernas are easy to find in Laganas and Tsilivi, many with play areas or gardens, and menus generally include simple pasta, chips, and grilled chicken alongside Greek classics. Supermarkets in the bigger resort towns stock familiar baby food and formula brands.

🛡️Safety

Zakynthos is low-crime and family-oriented, with the loggerhead sea turtles of Laganas Bay a genuine highlight for toddlers, and boat operators offering turtle-watching are regulated to keep a respectful distance. The main practical hazard is boat trips to sites like Navagio and the Blue Caves, so check that life jackets fit small children properly.

🏥Hospitals

The General Hospital of Zakynthos in Zakynthos Town handles routine care, but the island's medical resources are limited and serious cases are usually transferred to Patras or Athens. Resort-area private clinics in Laganas and Tsilivi are the quicker option for common toddler issues.
