The Santa Cruz old town is charming but narrow and cobbled, which makes for a bumpy ride with a stroller or a good workout for a baby carrier instead. Maria Luisa Park and the riverside path along the Guadalquivir are flat, shaded, and much easier going. Plaza de Espana's wide plaza and ramps are stroller friendly too.

🍽️Food & Eating

Many shops and some restaurants close for siesta between roughly 2 and 5pm, so plan lunch before then. Tapas bars typically open for dinner around 8pm and are casual and welcoming to children, with bread and simple dishes like tortilla easy to share. Ice cream and horchata stops are everywhere for a heat break.

🛡️Safety

Seville is very safe with low crime against visitors, though pickpockets do work busy tourist areas like the Cathedral and Triana Bridge. The real hazard for toddlers is the summer heat, which regularly tops 40C in July and August, so plan outdoor time for morning or evening and carry water and sun protection.

🏥Hospitals

Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocio and Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena are the two major public hospitals, both with pediatric emergency care. Private clinics like Hospital Quironsalud Sagrado Corazon are an option for shorter waits and English speaking staff.
