Whistler Village is a pedestrian-only, mostly flat area that works well with a stroller in summer, though snow and ice in ski season make a carrier more practical. Lost Lake's paved paths are a good stroller-friendly nature option.

🍽️Food & Eating

Village restaurants are very used to ski families and most have high chairs and kids' menus, from casual pizza spots to hotel dining rooms. Grocery stores in the village make self-catering easy for younger kids' meals.

🛡️Safety

Whistler is very safe from a crime standpoint; altitude, cold, and mountain weather are the main things to prepare for, along with the winding Sea to Sky Highway drive up from Vancouver. Ski lessons for toddlers typically start around age 3.

🏥Hospitals

Whistler Health Care Centre handles everyday needs and minor injuries, including ski-related ones, but serious cases are transferred to Vancouver (about 2 hours away). Pharmacies in the village cover most essentials.
