Warsaw is a modern, spread-out capital with wide pavements, low-floor trams and buses, and large parks like Lazienki that are ideal for stroller walks. The rebuilt Old Town is more compact and cobbled, but flat enough to manage without much trouble.

🍽️Food & Eating

Restaurants across the city are accustomed to families, and milk bars serve cheap, simple Polish comfort food that suits toddler palates well. Lazienki Park has cafes and space to run around, making it an easy lunch stop that doubles as playtime.

🛡️Safety

Warsaw is a safe capital with low crime and a well-organised public transport system. Tap water is generally safe though filtered water is common practice among locals. As in any big city, keep a close hand on children near tram tracks and busy road crossings.

🏥Hospitals

The Children's Memorial Health Institute (Instytut Pomnik Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka) is Poland's leading pediatric hospital and is equipped for serious cases. Private clinics such as Medicover and LUX MED have English-speaking doctors for routine visits. Pharmacies are easy to find throughout the city centre.
