Salou's beachfront promenade is long, flat and fully pram-accessible, and the resort was largely built with tourism in mind so pavements and ramps are consistently good. PortAventura World next door has stroller rental at the gate, which is worth using given the park's size.

🍽️Food & Eating

This is one of Spain's most family-geared resorts, with British and international chain restaurants, kids' menus and early dinner options widely available. Local chiringuitos along the beach serve paella and grilled seafood in a relaxed, child-friendly setting. Supermarkets stock familiar baby brands.

🛡️Safety

Salou is a low-key, family-oriented resort with low crime. Tap water is safe to drink. The beaches are gently shelving and lifeguarded in summer, making them good for younger swimmers, though it's worth watching sun exposure during the peak midday hours in July and August.

🏥Hospitals

Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus, a short drive away, handles serious emergencies, while a local health centre (CAP Salou) covers everyday issues. Pharmacies are plentiful along the main tourist strip.
