Sanur has the flattest, most walkable beachfront on the island: a paved promenade runs for several kilometers along the water, past cafes, playgrounds, and shaded spots, making it genuinely stroller-friendly. Side streets inland are more mixed, with patchy pavements and motorbike traffic.

🍽️Food & Eating

Sanur has a slower, more local feel than Seminyak, with a good spread of family-run warungs and beachfront cafes used to serving young children. Sunday markets and the beach walk have plenty of easy snack options like fresh fruit and coconuts.

🛡️Safety

Sanur's beach is reef-protected and generally calm, one of the safer swimming spots on the island for toddlers, though check tide times as the water can recede a long way out. The town is quieter and more residential than Bali's party areas, with a strong expat and retiree community that keeps the pace relaxed.

🏥Hospitals

BIMC Hospital and Siloam Hospitals in Denpasar and Kuta are both around 20 to 30 minutes away by car, with English-speaking doctors and pediatric care. Sanur itself has smaller clinics for everyday issues like fevers or minor cuts.
