The big resort compounds (Vinpearl, JW Marriott, Premier Village) have flat paved paths built for buggies, and the Sunset Town boardwalk is easy going too. Outside the resort belt, roads have no real pavements, so a carrier is worth packing for market trips or Duong Dong town.

🍽️Food & Eating

Resorts and the Grand World / Sunset Town dining strips have high chairs and kids' menus as standard, and fresh seafood is easy to get plain and unseasoned for little ones. Vinmart+ and local minimarts stock familiar snacks and UHT milk if you need backup supplies.

🛡️Safety

Phu Quoc feels noticeably calmer and less chaotic than mainland Vietnamese cities, with light traffic outside the main town. The main things to plan around are strong sun and jellyfish at some beaches in windier months, and swimming pools rather than open sea for the youngest kids.

🏥Hospitals

Vinmec Phu Quoc International Hospital covers everyday illnesses and has some English-speaking staff, but the island's medical facilities are limited overall. Anything serious is typically evacuated by air to Ho Chi Minh City, so decent travel insurance with medevac cover is worth having.
