πΌPram
Dublin city centre is mostly flat and very pram-friendly. St. Stephen's Green, Phoenix Park, and the Docklands area are great for long pram walks. The Luas trams have dedicated spaces; DART trains are accessible. Georgian footpaths can be uneven in older residential areas.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Ireland's relaxed pub culture has evolved to be very family-friendly: many pubs have dedicated family dining areas that welcome children until 9pm. Traditional Irish stew, fish and chips, and full Irish breakfasts are reliable toddler favourites.
π‘οΈSafety
Very safe city. Low crime by European capital standards. Unpredictable weather means always packing a raincover for the pram: Dublin can cycle through sun, cloud, and rain within an hour. Phoenix Park is expansive enough to lose track of young walkers.
π₯Hospitals
Children's Health Ireland at Crumlin (CHI Crumlin) and CHI at Temple Street are two world-class dedicated children's hospitals in Dublin. Both have excellent emergency departments. The Beacon Hospital and Blackrock Health have private English-speaking paediatric services.
