πΌPram
Salalah's beach corniche and the resort strip near Al Mughsail are flat and easy to push a stroller along. During khareef season (the summer monsoon), paths near the waterfalls and mountains get muddy and are better tackled with a carrier.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Resorts along the coast (Salalah Rotana, Juweira) offer relaxed family dining, and local restaurants are used to serving grilled fish and rice dishes that suit toddlers well. Lulu Hypermarket in town has a solid range of baby food and formula.
π‘οΈSafety
Salalah is very safe and calm, a real draw for families is the unique khareef monsoon (June to September) that turns the surrounding hills lush green with waterfalls, unlike anywhere else in the Gulf. Swimming should be kept to designated beach areas, as some coastal spots have strong undertows.
π₯Hospitals
Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah is the main regional facility and handles most routine and emergency needs well. For complex pediatric cases, families typically fly to Muscat, about an hour away.
