πΌPram
Amman is famously built across seven hills, so pavements are steep and uneven in older neighborhoods, especially around the Citadel and Rainbow Street. Newer areas like Abdoun and the malls (Abdali, Taj Mall) are much flatter and easier going.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Jordanians are warm toward children in restaurants, and mezze-style dining (hummus, bread, rice dishes) is naturally toddler-friendly even without a dedicated kids' menu. Carrefour and Cozmo supermarkets carry a wide range of international baby food and formula.
π‘οΈSafety
Amman is one of the safer capitals in the region, with a strong tourist infrastructure and low violent crime. The main practical hazards are uneven pavements and traffic, drivers don't always stop for pedestrians, so hold hands firmly at crossings.
π₯Hospitals
Jordan is a major medical tourism hub, and hospitals like Istishari and Jordan Hospital offer excellent pediatric care with English-speaking doctors. Pharmacies are everywhere and well-stocked, often able to dispense without a prescription for minor ailments.
