Resort strips along Al Marjan Island and the corniche are new, flat, and well-paved, easy going with a stroller. Older parts of town are less developed for pedestrians, so you'll mostly be moving between resort, beach, and car anyway.

🍽️Food & Eating

Beach resorts (Waldorf Astoria, DoubleTree, Hilton) all run kid-friendly buffets and have high chairs as standard. Supermarkets like Lulu Hypermarket carry a wide range of international baby food and formula brands.

🛡️Safety

Ras Al Khaimah is very safe with low crime and a strong family-tourism focus, including a genuinely thrilling but well-supervised Jais Flight zipline for older kids. Summer heat (May to September) is intense, so plan outdoor time for morning or evening.

🏥Hospitals

Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital and several private clinics offer good standard care with English-speaking doctors. For anything complex, Dubai's major hospitals are about an hour's drive away.
