🚼Stroller

Doha's modern malls (Mall of Qatar, Villaggio) are among the best-designed family spaces in the region — flat, air-conditioned, and with excellent nursing rooms. The Corniche waterfront promenade is beautiful for strollers in winter. Souq Waqif has some uneven surfaces but is navigable.

🍽️Food & Eating

Doha's food scene has internationalised rapidly. The Pearl Qatar and West Bay have excellent family dining with high chairs throughout. Traditional Qatari food like machbous (spiced rice with meat) is mild enough for toddlers. Most major hotel restaurants have children's menus.

🛡️Safety

One of the Middle East's safest cities with extremely low crime. The intense summer heat (June–September, 45°C+) makes outdoor activities with young children impossible — all family activities must be indoors. Dress codes at some family attractions require covered shoulders and knees.

🏥Hospitals

Sidra Medicine is a world-class women's and children's hospital that opened in 2018, ranked among the best in the region. Hamad General Hospital provides 24hr emergency care. Most private hospitals in Doha have English throughout.
