Paphos

🚼Pram

Paphos is a spread-out resort town rather than a dense old city, so most areas around the harbor and the main hotel strip have flat, wide pavements that work well with a stroller. The Paphos Archaeological Park has some uneven ancient stone, but paved paths connect the main mosaic sites. Coral Bay and the municipal gardens are also easy, pram-friendly stops.

🍽️Food & Eating

Paphos leans heavily on British and European tourism, so kids' menus, high chairs and familiar dishes are easy to find around the harbor and Kato Paphos. Greek Cypriot dishes like souvlaki and halloumi are mild and popular with toddlers. Supermarkets are well stocked for self-catering in the many resort apartments.

🛡️Safety

Cyprus is one of the safer Mediterranean destinations for families, with low crime and a strong resort tourism infrastructure. Tap water is generally safe but can taste heavily of chlorine, so most visitors use bottled water. Summer heat (regularly 35C+) is the main hazard, making shoulder-season travel easier with young kids.

🏥Hospitals

Paphos General Hospital handles emergencies and has pediatric care, and English is widely spoken given the large British expat and tourist population. Pharmacies are common around the harbor and resort areas.
