πΌPram
Corfu Town's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, has cobbled lanes and stepped alleys that are hard going with a stroller, so a lightweight umbrella stroller or carrier works better there. The resort areas around Dassia, Kontokali, and Gouvia have flatter, more stroller-friendly paths and beachfront promenades.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Corfu's tavernas, especially in family resort areas, are used to young children and often have a play area or garden. Local specialties like pastitsada are usually mild enough to share, and most restaurants will happily do plain pasta or grilled chicken on request. Supermarkets stock familiar formula brands in the bigger towns.
π‘οΈSafety
Corfu is calm and low-crime, with lush green scenery that feels gentler than the starker Cycladic islands. The main things to watch are boat trips (make sure life jackets fit toddlers properly) and summer heat, which is a touch less extreme here than on drier islands thanks to Corfu's greener, more humid climate.
π₯Hospitals
Corfu General Hospital in Corfu Town is the main facility and has treated many tourists, though English proficiency varies by staff member. Private clinics in the resort areas around Gouvia and Dassia are a good first stop for minor issues like ear infections or sunburn, and are generally quicker than the public hospital.
