πΌPram
Amber Fort, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar involve uneven stone courtyards and long flights of stairs, so a baby carrier works far better than a stroller for the main sights. In the newer Malviya Nagar and C Scheme neighborhoods, pavements are wider and a stroller is fine for walks and cafes.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Rajasthani thalis are flavorful but often quite spicy and rich with ghee, so ask for mild versions or stick to dal, rice, and roti for toddlers. Restaurants in C Scheme and near Hawa Mahal cater well to tourists with milder, simpler dishes, and bottled water is easy to find everywhere.
π‘οΈSafety
The main tourist circuit around the Pink City is heavily policed and generally safe, though the old city's narrow lanes get crowded and traffic can be chaotic, so keep a firm hold on toddlers near markets. Heat between March and May is intense, so plan fort visits for early morning.
π₯Hospitals
Fortis Escorts Hospital and Narayana Multispeciality Hospital both have pediatric emergency units and are well regarded by expat families. SMS Hospital is the major government facility if needed, though private hospitals are the better first stop for a quick consult.
