Beach clubs and resort promenades in Playa d'en Bossa and Santa Eulalia are flat and pram-friendly, but the cobbled lanes of Dalt Vila's old town and many rural cala access roads are steep and uneven. A lightweight stroller or baby carrier covers most situations, and car hire is the easiest way to reach family beaches like Cala d'Hort.

🍽️Food & Eating

Family-run chiringuitos (beach restaurants) along Talamanca and Cala Bassa serve simple grilled fish and pasta and are used to young kids. Supermarkets like Eroski stock familiar baby food and formula brands, and pizza is easy to find everywhere. Some of the famous beach club restaurants lean adult and pricey, so save those for date nights.

🛡️Safety

Ibiza is generally safe for families away from the nightclub strip of San Antonio, where late-night crowds and noise are worth avoiding with young kids. Tap water is drinkable, and sun exposure and strong currents at some open beaches are the main practical hazards. Car seats are mandatory in hire cars, and rural roads can be narrow and poorly lit at night.

Can Misses Hospital in Ibiza Town is the main public hospital and can handle most emergencies, though English isn't guaranteed at every desk. Private clinics like Policlinica Nuestra Senora del Rosario are quicker for minor issues and more used to tourists. Pharmacies are plentiful in the main resort towns for everyday medicine.
