Parent Tips

🚼Pram

Haeundae and Gwangalli beach promenades are wide, flat, and made for strollers, and the subway system has lifts at most stations. The colorful Gamcheon Culture Village is charming but very hilly and stepped, so it's better suited to a carrier than a buggy.

🍽️Food & Eating

Busan's seafood markets like Jagalchi can be intense for toddlers, but family restaurants and department store food courts nearby have high chairs and milder options like rice and grilled fish. Convenience stores (GS25, CU) are on every block for emergency supplies.

πŸ›‘οΈSafety

Busan is very safe with low crime, similar to Seoul, and public transport is clean and reliable. The beach can get crowded in peak summer, and strong currents occasionally close swimming areas, so check flags before letting kids in the water.

πŸ₯Hospitals

Pusan National University Hospital and Haeundae Paik Hospital both offer good pediatric care, and Haeundae's tourist-focused clinics are used to treating visitors. English can still be limited outside major hospitals, so having your hotel help translate is useful.
