Parent Tips

🚼Pram

Benidorm's Poniente and Levante beach promenades are wide, flat and among the most stroller-friendly in Spain, with lifts down to the sand in places. The whole resort was designed around mass tourism, so pavements, ramps and public transport are consistently accessible.

🍽️Food & Eating

Benidorm has one of Europe's highest concentrations of British-run and international family restaurants, most with kids' menus, high chairs and early sittings. It's easy to find a full English breakfast alongside Spanish tapas. Supermarkets are extensive and stock UK and familiar baby brands.

πŸ›‘οΈSafety

Benidorm is very safe and geared entirely around tourism, with lifeguarded beaches and low crime in the main resort zones. Tap water is safe to drink. The main thing to plan around is the summer heat and crowds in July and August, when a shaded stroller and early beach visits help.

πŸ₯Hospitals

Hospital de la Vila Joiosa (Marina Baixa) nearby handles emergencies, and Benidorm has several private clinics used to English-speaking tourists, including IMED Levante. Pharmacies are everywhere along the seafront.
