πΌPram
AlUla is a desert archaeological destination, most of Hegra and Elephant Rock involve walking on sand and uneven rock, so a stroller isn't practical for the main sites. A sturdy carrier and a hat with a chin strap serve toddlers much better here.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Dining options are concentrated around the resorts and the Maraya area, with a small but growing number of family-friendly restaurants. Bring extra snacks and baby food for day trips, since options thin out quickly once you're away from the main hub.
π‘οΈSafety
AlUla is very safe and well-managed for tourism, with organized tours to most archaeological sites. The desert heat and sun are the real hazard even in winter, carry plenty of water and plan outdoor exploring for morning or late afternoon.
π₯Hospitals
There's a small local health center in AlUla town, but anything beyond minor care means a drive of an hour or more to Madinah's larger hospitals. Bring a well-stocked first aid kit and any regular medications for the trip.
