πΌPram
Toronto's subway has lifts at all but the oldest stations, the streetcars have accessible low-floor boarding, and the PATH underground network lets you cover large distances climate-controlled with a pram in winter. The Harbourfront, Distillery District, and High Park are all excellent pram territory.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Toronto's extraordinary multiculturalism means every cuisine is available and casual dining is completely child-welcoming. St. Lawrence Market, Kensington Market, and Chinatown all have great affordable toddler-friendly options. High chairs are universal in family restaurants.
π‘οΈSafety
One of North America's safest major cities. Very low violent crime in tourist and residential areas. The main practical challenge is winter: from December to March temperatures routinely drop below -10Β°C, requiring full snowsuit gear for babies and making outdoor time very limited.
π₯Hospitals
The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) on University Avenue is world-renowned as one of the top children's hospitals globally. Toronto General and Mount Sinai both have strong paediatric emergency departments with English-speaking staff throughout.
