The renovated Pattaya Beach promenade and Jomtien Beach's boardwalk are flat and stroller friendly, and family resort areas like Jomtien are noticeably calmer than central Pattaya. Central Pattaya's Walking Street area is crowded and better avoided with a stroller, especially in the evening.

🍽️Food & Eating

Pattaya has an enormous range of family restaurants, from Thai seafood shacks to international chains in malls like Central Festival and Terminal 21. Jomtien Beach is the better base for a quieter, more family-oriented dining scene than the bars of central Pattaya.

🛡️Safety

Pattaya's central nightlife district has a red-light reputation that's worth planning around, but family areas like Jomtien Beach and the resort strips feel calm and safe. Traffic and scooters are the bigger everyday hazard, so stick to taxis and be careful crossing busy roads with a toddler.

🏥Hospitals

Bangkok Hospital Pattaya is a large private hospital with a dedicated children's department and English-speaking pediatricians, well used to treating international tourists. Pharmacies are plentiful throughout the resort areas for everyday needs.
