Hurghada is built around large all-inclusive resorts, and most have flat, paved paths, making it easy to push a stroller around the grounds and pool areas. The town center and older streets outside resorts have uneven pavements and heavy traffic, so a carrier is useful for excursions into Sekalla or the souk.

🍽️Food & Eating

Resort buffets are extremely toddler-friendly, with dedicated kids' sections, familiar Western dishes, and high chairs everywhere. Local restaurants serve grilled fish and koshari that most kids enjoy, though stick to bottled water and well-cooked food to avoid stomach upsets.

🛡️Safety

Resort areas are heavily secured and generally very safe for families, with hotel staff used to young children. Sun exposure and heatstroke are the bigger everyday risks given the desert climate, and tap water should be avoided in favor of bottled water.

🏥Hospitals

El Gouna Hospital and the private Baron Palace clinics are used to treating tourists and have some English-speaking staff, though for serious issues families often arrange evacuation insurance to Cairo or Europe. Most resorts have an on-call doctor for minor issues like fevers.
