πΌPram
Geneva's lakefront promenade and the Old Town's lower streets are stroller-friendly, with buses and trams offering level boarding. The steep climb up to St. Pierre Cathedral in the Old Town is the one spot best avoided or tackled with a carrier instead.
π½οΈFood & Eating
As a very international city, Geneva has an enormous range of family-friendly dining, from Swiss fondue restaurants with kids' menus to pizzerias and Asian noodle spots. Lakeside kiosks and the covered Plainpalais market are good for cheap, casual meals with toddlers who won't sit still for long.
π‘οΈSafety
Geneva is extremely safe, with low crime and a huge expat and diplomatic community that keeps the city calm and orderly. Tap water is safe and high quality, sourced from Lake Geneva and local springs. The main risk to plan around is simply the cost of the trip rather than anything physical.
π₯Hospitals
Hopital des Enfants, part of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), is a dedicated children's hospital with a strong international reputation. English is very widely spoken given the UN and NGO presence in the city. Pharmacies are plentiful and well stocked for common toddler ailments.
