Denarau Island is a purpose built resort strip with flat, paved paths connecting the marina, golf course, and beachfront hotels, making it one of the easiest stroller destinations in the Pacific. Most resorts (Sheraton, Hilton, Radisson) are large single sites you can navigate entirely on smooth paths.

🍽️Food & Eating

Resorts here are built for family holidays, with kids' clubs, buffet dining, and high chairs standard at nearly every restaurant. Port Denarau Marina has a row of casual, family friendly restaurants and a supermarket for self catering.

🛡️Safety

Very safe within the resort enclave, with calm, shallow lagoon swimming at most beachfronts. Tap water at major resorts is treated and safe, though bottled water is commonly offered as a precaution for young children.

🏥Hospitals

Most large resorts have an on-site nurse or doctor, and Nadi's private hospitals (around 20 minutes away) handle more serious needs with English-speaking staff. Pharmacies are available at Port Denarau and in Nadi town.
