The resort strip along My Khe Beach and the newer riverside promenades are wide and stroller friendly, but the Old Quarter streets and markets get narrow and crowded. Ba Na Hills is mostly cable car and paved plaza, so a stroller works there too, just expect queues.

🍽️Food & Eating

Vietnamese food here is mild and toddler friendly: pho, banh mi, and rice dishes rarely come spicy unless you ask for chili on the side. Resort hotels and the many Korean and Western restaurants along Vo Nguyen Giap street all have high chairs, and convenience stores like Circle K and VinMart are everywhere for snacks and formula.

🛡️Safety

Da Nang is one of the calmer, cleaner cities in Vietnam, but scooter traffic is still the main hazard: hold hands tightly near any road and use pedestrian crossings even if locals don't. Tap water isn't safe to drink, so stick to bottled or boiled water, and pack mosquito repellent for dengue season (roughly June to October).

🏥Hospitals

Vinmec International Hospital Da Nang has English-speaking doctors and a pediatric department, and Hoan My Danang Hospital is a solid backup for everyday issues. For anything serious, families are typically stabilized locally then referred to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi.
