Billund

🚼Pram

Billund exists almost entirely for family visits, and Legoland itself has wide, flat, pram-friendly paths throughout, along with stroller rental on site if you don't want to bring your own. The Lego House in the town centre is similarly built for buggies, with lifts between floors. There's little to see outside the two main attractions, so this is a short, focused trip rather than a city break.

🍽️Food & Eating

Both Legoland and Lego House have multiple family restaurants with high chairs, kids' menus, and buffet-style options that suit picky eaters well. The town itself is tiny, so most meals happen inside the attractions or at the resort hotels. Danish hot dogs (polser) from street stands are a cheap, reliable toddler favourite.

🛡️Safety

Billund is a small, quiet, extremely safe town built around family tourism, with very low crime. Tap water is safe everywhere. Legoland itself is well set up for lost-child protocols and staff are used to managing large numbers of young children.

🏥Hospitals

The nearest full hospital is Lillebaelt Hospital in Kolding or Vejle Hospital, both about 30-40 minutes away by car, and Legoland's on-site first aid station handles minor injuries. Staff generally speak good English. There's no large pharmacy in Billund itself, so it's worth bringing basic children's medicine.
