Shanghai Disneyland and the modern districts like Pudong and the Bund have wide pavements, ramps, and metro lifts that make strollers easy work. The old French Concession lanes and older neighborhoods are charming but narrower and busier, so plan accordingly.
π½οΈFood & Eating
Shanghai Disneyland and international hotel restaurants have kids' menus and high chairs as standard, and congee, dumplings, and noodle dishes are easy to order mild. Note that Google Maps, Google Translate, and WhatsApp don't work without a VPN, so download offline maps and a translation app like Pleco beforehand.
π‘οΈSafety
Shanghai is remarkably safe with very low street crime, and the metro system is clean, modern, and easy to use with a stroller. Mobile payment (Alipay or WeChat Pay) dominates over cash, so set one up in advance since many smaller vendors won't take foreign cards.
π₯Hospitals
Shanghai United Family Hospital has English-speaking doctors and a dedicated pediatric department used to treating international families. Several other international clinics operate in the Jing'an and Pudong areas for everyday needs.
