Montreal is very stroller-friendly, with flat streets, curb cuts, and a metro system that, while not fully elevator-equipped at every station, has enough accessible stations to plan around. The Old Port and Mount Royal Park both have smooth, wide paths.

🍽️Food & Eating

Bring the kids to a casse-croute for poutine, or try family-friendly bistros in the Plateau, most of which have high chairs and are relaxed about noise. Bagel shops like St-Viateur are a fun, cheap stop with toddlers.

🛡️Safety

Montreal is a very safe, walkable city with low violent crime. Winters are genuinely cold (down to -15C), so plan accordingly if visiting outside summer, and note that most signage is in French first.

🏥Hospitals

Montreal Children's Hospital is a top-tier pediatric facility with English-speaking staff, part of the McGill University Health Centre. Pharmacies (Jean Coutu, Pharmaprix) are on nearly every corner.
