Parent Tips

🚼Pram

The Strip itself has wide, flat sidewalks and pedestrian bridges that are easy for strollers, though distances between resorts are longer than they look. Casino floors are adults-focused, so plan routes through hotel lobbies rather than gaming areas when possible.

🍽️Food & Eating

Buffets and family-style restaurants at resorts like Excalibur or Circus Circus cater well to kids, and most Strip hotels have at least one casual, kid-friendly dining option. Tap water is safe to drink.

πŸ›‘οΈSafety

The Strip and major resort areas are heavily monitored and generally safe, but Las Vegas is fundamentally an adult entertainment city, so some areas and late-night crowds are best avoided with young kids. Extreme summer heat (well over 40C) is a real hazard, so plan outdoor time for morning or evening.

πŸ₯Hospitals

Sunrise Children's Hospital is the main paediatric facility in the Las Vegas area, and most major resorts can arrange in-room doctor visits for minor issues.
